NU and LNT: The great costume re-home with a stop at Not's repair shop

Costumes aren't my milieu, but this one was made primarily of things familiar to tech directors everywhere: white gaffers tape and seat-cushion vinyl.  It's a genius design/use of materials, but time (and heat and light) had caught up with it, rendering it unusable in its current condition and too much work (read: time and money) to fix it just to sit more.

Lost Nation has had this gem in the space since I've been there, making it 20+ years old.  In that time, the adhesive on the gaff tape melted and dried and melted some more, giving it more back-alley look than that of dressings for Richard III, even when applying the 10-foot rule.

A removal of the adhesive residue from the middle of the squares and a fresh application of gaff later, and the cloak will make it's triumphant return back to the stage for NU's spring show. And have a new place to hang.
