Ever-evolving Marley Cart table
Some found objects have just too many good possibilities, and that is the case with a retired Marley flooring cart we obtained.
After several starts at working out two separate tables, we've decided to combine the sides of the cart into one, four-legged table:
The transition from base-to-top will be a mish-mash pile of the very last of the cart pieces:
Ideally, this will reflect the transitory nature of theater pieces in general:

We've also opted to use a piece of the cart's platform as the top of the table. This is sanded smooth (but still with theater paint), filled, and coated in paste wax:
