BOH: Using metal plates to bridge failing wood sockets in front of house
Like many performing arts spaces of a certain age, the main floor of the Barre Opera House needed a little TLC.
The attachment points for the floor-mounted chairs were wearing out the sockets that fasten the chairs to the floor. We built and installed intermediate plates to bridge the old holes and hardware, returning the seating to its solid, original state.
