Bookcase-ish object leans toward credenza

As we work our way through the design process, a description has shaken out. What began as an otherwise-unclassified "low bookcase object" is taking form (through consults with the end user) and coming out of its pigeon hole.

Shelves were tacked in place:

 On both ends:

And it took on the feel notsomuch of a bookcase, but rather a credenza.
